Approximately 8 1/2 x 11 TLS on Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation letter head. From Nunnally Johnson to Actor Monty Woolley, with good tie in to the 1942 film, "The Pied Piper", which stars Monty Woolley and was written by Nunnally Johnson.
Mr Johnson is chiding Mr. Woolley for his drinking and the misspelling of Nunnally in a previous correspondence. Signed in pencil, first name only, As was Nunnally Johnson's custom. Nice example of the exemplar and the humor of this great Writer/ Director / Producer.
Some toning to letter, which is printed on onion skin. Some chipping to edge. One small stain near the end of the signature. Otherwise very fine.
